Job Description
Shirley Parsons are working alongside a leading Technology and Network organisation where a new opportunity has become available for a Training & Competence Manager based in the Midlands.
The Role
  • Responsible for the learning and development process within the division.
  • Responsible for the young people development programmes.
  • Responsible for maintain the business training and accreditation competencies.
  • Delivering classroom training, mentoring, 1 to 1 sessions and e-portfolio learning.
  • Deliver an effective Apprenticeship programme in conjunction with external associations such as local businesses, customers and colleges.
  • Delivering in a number of subjects such as Working from Heights, Security, Health and Safety, First Aid and general active working site hazards.
  • Conduct Internal Verification Audits on other Trainers within the business.
The Candidate
  • 5 years' experience working within a learning and development position, either on Apprenticeship or Graduate programmes.
  • Industry background in Transport, IT, Construction or Utilities.
  • Experience of staff management.
  • Experience of delivering training and development needs to maintain compliance to NHSS8.
  • Degree qualified in relevant subject area.
  • Trainer and assessor qualified.
